Angels in America.
Jay and I watched the rest of Angels in America last night. I spent most of the three hours with my mouth hanging open and tears running down my face. I'm still reeling from it. I have never been so profoundly affected by a work of art; and I've encountered a lot of art that I've been deeply moved by.

I saw Angels In America for the first time last month. I'd put it off for a long long time -- I knew it was going to upset me terribly. I'm glad I waited. I've only begun to truly process my HIV diagnosis 18 months ago -- and through all my tears I come to terms with the epidemic and all that happened, what has to not happen, and for what I have to be grateful.
I blogged about the show here: http://m00nchildblog.blogspot.com/2007/08/winding.html
